The Science Behind GlucoPredictâ„¢

web image man in blue.png

Our algorithm analyzes meal composition and estimated portions, using available glucose information to calculate a possible response after eating. This is a mathematical estimate for learning and comparison, not a measurement of your blood sugar.

How Food Affects Blood Sugar

The body breaks down carbohydrates into glucose, or blood sugar. Protein, fat, and fiber can change how quickly a meal is digested and glucose is absorbed. The combination of foods and the amounts eaten both matter.

Compare Meal Portions

Each curve shows one calculated meal scenario. Changing a portion changes the information used in the calculation; the difference between curves is an estimate, not a guaranteed change in your blood sugar.

Review Your Meal Choices

A Record for Learning

Meal history records what you entered and the options you explored. Use it to revisit decisions and identify questions. A record of estimates cannot establish whether your measured glucose control has improved.

Evidence and Limits

Established nutrition research explains why meal composition and portions matter. Evidence that GlucoPredict's estimates are accurate or improve health requires separate studies of the platform. General nutrition guidance is not proof of its performance.

Why Actual Results May Differ

Glucose responses vary between people and from day to day. Medication, activity, and health conditions can affect the outcome. Photos may miss ingredients or misjudge portions. Continue glucose monitoring and your prescribed care plan; never use these estimates for insulin dosing or medication changes.
